Bayou Classic is the ultimate southern-culture traditional showdown! This year, two of Louisiana's Premiere Violinist Shaun Ward Xperience and T-Ray the Violinist & D2R face off Band to Band! Both phenoms are no strangers to the south, and this year alone they have a combined performance trek, making appearances at some of the biggest festivals throughout the south from Baton Rouge's Live After 5, New Orleans Jazz Fest, Essence Fest, Bayou Classic Fan Fest, and will meet front and center to show whose King of the Hill! Well-versed in Classic and Contemporary R&B, Jazz, and Hip Hop, This collective will truly show what it means to transcend violins. 

 

Like Southern & Grambling, these virtuoso's have a history spanning over 10 years. Close highschool classmates in Baton Rouge studying the violin together as adolescents, now men who have both come into their own, and respectively becoming rock stars of the strings in their own right. This rich back story feels like the very thing you only see in blockbuster films, and is exactly the synergy that epic battles are made of.
